Eirikuva has launched a new web service for ordering photo products. The service provides an easier and more versatile way for customers to order a wide range of photo products. The appearance of the web service was designed by Eirikuva’s own IT department, while Fiare was responsible for the technical implementation.
The new web service offers customers more opportunities to edit their image files, add texts and select from a range of easy-to-use templates for making photo books. The service also allows customers to save their photos online for later use, as well as to access readymade design and clip art images. Customers can pay for their orders directly online and select whether they want to have them delivered by post or collect them in person from the nearest Eirikuva shop or other participating service outlet.
“Images are already saved and distributed online, so it is natural to continue by ordering prints on the internet. The popularity of professionally printed photographs has remained very strong as a way of preserving memories and archiving important events. Web services also offer companies such as Eirikuva enhanced opportunities to offer their customers a wider range of products and to target their campaigns more precisely,” comments Hannu Kytölä, Managing Director of Fiare.
