The main regional news site Karjalainen.fi was completely renewed and launched at the beginning of 2012. Ease of use and fast usability were main focus areas for new karjalainen.fi site. The most current news in under each topic as well as other main sections like sports, entertainment and opinions are easily found and browsed with a glimpse. The home page view can be tailored to suit one’s own interests. There are plenty of live videos on the site – the latest videos and programmes of K5 Channel as well as from the past years can be viewed on the site. Picture gallery features also old memories from the archive. The development project was managed by the digital department of Karjalainen and implemented by Fiare.
